Save Those LEGO Sticker Sheets!

Here's a tip for any of you model rocketeers out there who also enjoy building with LEGO.

Many LEGO sets come with a sheet of printed 'peel and curse' stickers that are applied to some of the parts.  These are in the form of control panels, stripes, signs, logos, numbers, etc.

When the stickers are used, there are a good amount of border areas left on the sheets.

Some of these are perfect for fashioning small detail decals for your model rockets.

There are generally a number of white border sections along with a thick black strip on each sheet.  Also present are some part ID numbers.  These are white on a black square.

In the corner of each sheet are tiny letters/numbers that are the product number. Perfect for a simulated 'serial number' decal on your model.

I have used several of these items on some of my model rockets to add a few small detail embellishments.

The sticker material is of very good quality and quite thin.  The adhesive used is good quality, as well.

Cheers!
