Today, I stopped into the local Hobby Lobby store to pick up a needed package of 1/2A3-4T motors.
Just for grins, I visited the 'Clearance' section on the back wall of the store.
To my surprise, I found this:
A package of 1/2A3-4Ts that had been opened and was missing one motor. I was going to snag this until I saw the price sticker.
$5.99.
Wait a minute...that works out to 2 bucks per motor.
The regular package of four is $6.99, meaning $1.75 per motor.
Needless to say, I passed on the clearance sale package. I suppose I could have argued the price at the checkstand, but I felt it wasn't worth the bother.
For what it's worth, they had five Estes Leapers on the clearance shelf for $5.99 each.
I passed on these as well. Just not interested.
Cheers!
