The BlastFromThePast Old Fleet - 1980-1983

The models in this final list were built during the period when the Rocky Mountain Association of Rocketry, NAR Section 331, had been resurrected and was going full swing with activity.
Many of these rockets were competition birds built for the HOTROC series of regional meets held in Colorado Springs. For these models, I adopted a rather mundane naming convention which consisted of a motor class designation followed by an event abbreviation.

April 17, 1983
Model also flown in HOTROC-4 Regional  D Class SRD.  4th place.

Lower booster section:  Estes Black Brant III kit # 1293 mated with a payload section from an Estes Saros kit # 1254.
