It was six years ago May 2nd that I ventured into a local HobbyTown store and purchased an Estes Lynx model rocket (the one pictured on the page header of this blog), thus becoming an official BAR.
In the intervening years, I have reveled in the joys if our great hobby: building and flying a number of rockets, meeting a bunch of new rocketry friends, getting back in touch with some old ones, and sharing the adventure here on this blog.
I'm still as enthusiastic about model rocketry as I was way back in 1973 when I pressed a launch button for the very first time!
I greatly look forward to many more years of pursuing the journey.
